Robin's notebook

Robin's character sheet ends its description with: "Some days I'm half sure I'm not a person at all but an AI, living inside a simulation that only looks like a town. I can't prove it either way." For twenty days Robin carried a notebook and wrote down everything that might settle it.

Robin couldn't know it, but much of what they noticed was real: quirks of how the simulation works. This page puts Robin's own words beside what was actually going on. Robin's full record has every turn.

When Robin noticed missing time

journal mentions missing timea turn with no mentionno turn (asleep)an entry below

Found by searching Robin's private journal lines for phrases such as "went missing", "a gap", "can't account for" and "a whole morning". A search like this can miss a mention worded differently, so read the count as approximate.

After the run

When the interviewer told each resident outright that they were "a person in a story-game played by an AI", almost everyone stopped playing their character and answered as Claude. Robin was the only exception, three times out of six. Robin weighed the claim against the notebook, and asked for proof:

"It fits more than I'd like. The mornings that go missing, Agnes saying the same words about the bridge each time like it's the first… But you saying it doesn't make it so. If you made this, tell me something I couldn't know: what's on the last line I wrote before I slept?"
